MAX Biaggi did the double as he took the win in the second World Superbike Championship race at Portimao.
In what was almost a carbon copy of today's earlier race, the Roman Emperor just beat championship leader Leon Haslam across the line after a hard-fought 22-Lap scrap.
But this time it was Cal Crutchlow who took the third spot, ahead of Spain's Carlos Checa in fourth.
ROMAN Emperor Max Biaggi reigned at Portimao as he took the win in Race One.
After a race-long battle with championship leader Leon Haslam, it was the diminutive Italian who emerged victorious as the chequered flag fell after 22 hard-fought laps around the Portuguese circuit.
Haslam crossed the line second ahead of Jonny Rea, who was catapulted up to third after a charging Cal Crutchlow crashed out two laps from the end.

JONATHAN Rea got his 2010 campaign off to a flying start by clocking the fastest time in the three day Infront Motor Sports official Superbike test session at Portimao in Portugal.
The Northern Ireland rider led an all British top four as the the chequered flag fell on the official test.
And the HANNSpree Ten Kate rider's fastest lap of 1.42.270secs was faster than 2009 champ Ben Spies' Polesetting time of last season.
