Neal Brands Action BLOG.jpgMATT Neal finally got his moment after a difficult day as he won the third Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race of the day at Brands Hatch.

The Team Honda Racing driver was looking to make amends after he landed pole for the final round in the draw for the reversed grid.

Having started the first race from pole he was taken out at the second corner and forced to start Race Two at the back, so it was almost fitting that he get a second chance to shine in the final race.

The Silverline Chevrolet driver led from the second corner of the delayed-start race to take the win ahead of James Nash and Tom Chilton.

But it was a disasterous start to the 2011 season for polesitter Matt Neal, who was knocked into the gravel as the pack headed into Druids Bend for the first time and had to watch the race unfold from the tyre wall.

ANDREW Jordan has claimed his first ever British Touring Car Championship victory in today's final race at Croft Circuit.

The Pirtek Racing driver led from lights to flag in the Vauxhall Vectra to claim an easy win and give former BTCC star dad Mike the ultimate Father's Day gift.

Second place went to Team Aon's Tom Onslow-Cole while Steven Kane extended his record of finishing on the podium at every round by crossing the line third in the Airwaves BMW.

GORDON Shedden made it two in a row as he took his second British Touring Car Championship race win of the day.

Shedden led a Team Honda Racing one-two across the line, as team-mate Matt Neal took the second spot.

Neal's main title rival Jason Plato brought his Silverline Chevrolet home in third place.

GORDON Shedden squeezed Rob Collard onto the grass to take the win in the opening race of today's round of the British Touring Car Championship at Croft.

After leading from the opening lap and having at one point pulled out a 3.1second lead, Shedden's Team Honda Racing Civic came under pressure in the closing laps from the hard-charging WSR BMW of Collard.

As the race reached its final few corners, Collard was riding on the bootlid of Sheddon's Honda, and made the move around the outside of the hairpin as the pair came around to take the chequered flag.
