Good times with Laverty and co at NYRRSC chat night

THE countdown for this weekend's World Superbike Championship round at Donington Park kicked-off in style, thanks to those guys at the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club (NYRRSC) on Tuesday night.
The club held another one of it's famous chat nights down at Northallerton, this time featuring the PTR Honda squad plus Yamaha World Superbike rider Eugene Laverty.
Unfortunately, Cumbria's James Ellison who had been on the bill was
stuck down south with motor troubles so was unable to make it, but
between Eugene, PTR rider Sam Lowes and team manager Simon Buckmaster,
they still pulled off a good show.
Tales included Simon and Eugene's experiences with dodgy kerbs and Ferraris at the Nurburgring plus a hilarious insight into what happens in Las Vegas after a World Superbike race.
This, apparently, involves a team manager drinking so many Jager bombs that he has to call it a night early while his rider and a bunch of mechanics hit the strip and get jumped on by some unsavoury characters...with said rider trying to fight back by "throwing windmills" - flailing his arms around wildly.
Sounds fun, but there were no repeat performances tonight, thankfully, although reports just in suggest that Eugene's girlfriend Pippa Morson - famed for her ability to clear a table of food in min
utes yet somehow retain her perfect figure - was last spotted helping eat a kebab a kind gentleman offered to share after the show.
Pip had probably worked up an appetite darting around with her camera taking photos of everyone and threatening to put them all on Eugene's website, so I've beaten her to it with this little gem of us.
And it was great to see some of the local faces from the British paddock who are supporters of and sponsored by the club.
Mr Pitlane and Burning Rubber's pal Larry "Scoop" Carter was looking dapper and may I suggest younger when I spotted him chatting to BSB star Dan Linfoot for a fair bit of the evening.
It was also good to see young hotshot Chrissy Rouse who made the trip down from Gateshead with his SGR Racing team boss Steve Kinghorn. Both are buzzing about the season ahead.
Wh
ile 15-year-old Chrissy was getting some racing advice and tips from Laverty, Steve revealed how the team name came about...he named SGR after himself, daughter Georgina and wife Ruth.
Great night and a great start to the World Superbike countdown.

Great write up and pictures as always Zoe...role on Donington
I'm so glad I found my soltiuon online.
One acknowledges that our life is high priced, nevertheless different people require cash for different issues and not every man earns big sums money. Thus to receive good loans and just short term loan should be a proper way out.
