These come from trees

By Trash Talk on Mar 30, 11 10:00 AM
A single "These Come From Trees" sticker can save around a tree's worth of paper, every year. This began (and I suppose still is) an experiment in environmentalism and viral marketing.

To try to reduce the amount of paper towels used in bathrooms Pete Kazanjy designed a simple sticker - and it worked.

Who killed Brian True-May?

It was ITV, in the boardroom, with politically-correct indignation.

THE countdown for this weekend's World Superbike Championship round at Donington Park kicked-off in style, thanks to those guys at the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club (NYRRSC) on Tuesday night.

The club held another one of it's famous chat nights down at Northallerton, this time featuring the PTR Honda squad plus Yamaha World Superbike rider Eugene Laverty.

Earth Hour 2011: 8.30pm, Saturday 26 March - switch off the lights and celebrate your action for the planet with the people of world

I MAY be setting myself up for a fall with this one but as a veteran of that infernal 2008/09 campaign I feel qualified to make a bold judgement. Newcastle United will not be relegated this season.

The advance of the struggling pack combined with United's own flat-lining form has rightly raised alarm on Tyneside but panic is not the appropriate reaction. Not yet, anyway.

Alain Menu Brazil

ALAIN Menu broke down and cried in parc ferme after sealing the win in Race Two at Curitiba...and dedicated it to his late father.

The Swiss veteran overcame a disasterous qualifying to line up in pole for the second race at the Brazilian track, and backed up a sixth in Race One with the win.

As he exited his blue Chevrolet Cruze, the former BTCC champ removed his helmet and put his heads into his hands on the roof, shedding an emotional tear.
