Making waste into art
A student from Newcsatle College has turned waste onto art.
In the summer of 2010 Premier Waste Management initiated a photo assignment with Newcastle College photography students.
The assignment was to either take photographs of the nature projects that we have helped fund through County Durham Environment Trust (CDENT) - these are the people that manage our donations to the Landfill Communities Fund, or to take photographs with recycling in the theme.
The first set of photos is now online. These were taken by Tony Brannon.
Tony decided to recreate famous artworks using bottles, plastic tops and cans, you can see the results here.Tony works for Creative Image Design: www.creativeimageuk.net
