Climate change action in Durham
A new group called Climate Durham has just launched.
Climate Durham is a coalition of residents, businesses and organisations seeking to inspire every individual, household, business and organisation in Durham to adapt to a low carbon lifestyle.
Climate Durham believes that by working as a community, they will encourage and enable change. Small individual changes need to be recognised. Similarly, work in organisations, schools and business need recognition. Their website allows individual and community action to be recognised and shared.
Interested in getting involved or want to find out what others are doing?
Anyone who lives works or is educated in Durham can become involved, Climate Durham operates as a partnership where the contribution of every individual/ organisation is considered equally important - the work is owned by no-one and everyone.
