Easton Replaces Parkes at PBM for Assen

'RATBOY' Stuart Easton has been drafted in to replace the injured Broc Parkes at Assen this weekend.
The 24-year-old from Hawick will ride the Paul Bird Motorsport Kawasaki at the famous Dutch circuit.
Parkes, 27, was injured during a test at Snetterton this week, and was today having surgery on a damaged shoulder.
Team boss Paul Bird was left looking for a replacement rider to pilot the factory-backed
www.supercasino.com, Vent Axia and Kick Energy Ninja ZX-10R.
Easton, who as well as riding for Hydrex Honda in British Superbikes this season, is the team's development and test rider and has done plenty of miles on the Kawasaki in recent months, so was an ideal replacement.
"I couldn't believe it when the call came in from Paul, I didn't need to be asked twice, that's for sure!" he said.
"It's a brilliant opportunity for me and I'm really looking forward to working with the team in a race environment rather than just testing".
Birdy, meanwhile, believes he has found the perfect man to ride his superbike.

"When it became apparent that Broc couldn't ride this weekend, I had no reservations about calling Stuart to deputise and he will be a more than able replacement," revealed the Penrith poultry magnate.
"He knows the bike and works well with the team but there is absolutely no pressure on him at all."
