Getting rid of the dependence on oil for cars would have a huge impact on your carbon footprint.

But it seems like a HUGE task.

Here is someone who might just do it.

Shai Agassi has a plan to put electric cars on the road. It'll take a whole new model of car ownership but a business model that already works in the software industry - an industry he knows very well having sold the software company he founded with his father to SAP (the world's largest maker enterprise software) for 400 million US dollars.
