Let's Get naked
Let's Get Naked, you and I. That, at least, was the promise behind the BBC2 documentary Dawn...Gets Naked.
And that wasn't an invitation I was going to turn down even if the show was a repeat of a programme originally shown on BBC3.
Reporter Dawn Porter did her thing in a series dedicated to all things feminine.
So, naturally, the blokes wanted to get a bit of eye candy and tuned in to support the lass in her endeavours.
Dawn lost no opportunity to strip off, either fully or partially, in aid of her ambition to find out what makes the perfect body.
She did a bit of modelling, visited a nudist camp, did a burlesque act, and even got ker kit off for some topiary - and I'm not talking about the kind you find in gardens.
Clever photography and the use of random objects hiding her bits showed a few curves but didn't give us any full frontal tittilation.
But the biggest bust-up was when she arranged a flashmob, or is that fleshmob, of naked women on the top deck of a London bus.
But even then Dawn didn't go the whole way with stragetically-placed objects hiding her nipples.
She talked the talk of getting naked but didn't walk the walk.
While cameras were happy to focus on the naked top halves of volunteers who accomopanied her Dawn, strangely, kept hers hidden.
She even had green sticky-back plastic over her boobs on her much-vaunted flashmob.
The title of the programme was Dawn..Gets Naked. A case to answer under the Trade Descriptions Act?

perfect example of another title ploy to attract viewers
When they first came up for the idea of this programme it was to copy Spencer Tunick and request for hundreds turn up to display their bodies.
As you saw on this BBC3 repeat the numbers never happened and I wonder why ?
Alas naturism is more than exhibitionism.
Sorry
A naturist/nudist.
I couldn't find the article on your KK apology Ian but I'd like to say fair do's. I sent you a blistering reply, in fact it was bordering on ABH, such was my anger. I apologise for my extremely harsh words.
Curiosity was the thing that lead Eve to eat of the fruit, so after that we all fail to make same mistake.
Ha ha, that's funny, I thought was the serpent the responsible of the sin.
