Nigel's not got talent

Posted by Ian Robson on May 17, 2008 5:14 PM |

Ha, ha, ha.

Just watched local lad Nigel Graham on the website for Britain's Got Talent.

And he hasn't.

He was the bloke who dressed in a rubber pirate mask and did a George Michael song before the panel of judges.

He quite fancied himself, too, telling the camera that he had a good chance.

Yeah, a good chance of being laughed at. Let's just say he didn't get through.

There was an early sign of things to come when Simon Cowell pressed the red button when Nigel had sung for a few seconds.

Then Amanda Holden turned him down. Finally Piers Morgan made it three in a row.

And, if he still didn't get the message, there was another clue when the audience shouted off, off, off.

And it really was bad. So bad it was almost watchable in the sense of witnessing a road accident.

Let's hear what the experts had to say.

Simon: "You don't have a bloody clue."

Amanda: "I'm gutted because that was rubbish."

Piers: "What was the point of that mask?"

Good question. If Nigel's thing is dressing up in a rubber pirate mask and impersonating George Michael he can do it in the privacy of his bedroom.

Still, you gotta admire his tenacity.

Nigel took rejection in his stride and accepted the panel's decision with good grace.

But that doesn't alter the fact that he was rubbish. What do you think?
